I despise people who consistently try to have ‘legal debates’ with me, but their entire submission consists of ‘lawyers are liars’, ‘lawyers are sociopaths who like to get their guilty clients off, because they’re so good at lying’, ‘the “system” is so broken and you lawyers just like to ruin people’s lives’ etc.

Why do people who have never touched a legal textbook in their entire lives just LOVE to let me know how much more of an expert in litigation and sentencing procedure they are than I am?

Also, can people stop using crime in America to explain criminal cases in England! They are entirely different jurisdictions and it is a poor attempt at trying to correlate sentences passed in England to racism in crime in America!
